Turbo Diesel discovery is unbelievable capable, the fuel economy is Lovley too
To give you prospective of how capable it is, look at the image of my hummer crossing the Mojave river, water is above the hood, only air lift hook is visible and I was behind the discovery that already crossed it.

03 D2 , 3'' lift, 32'' RT tires. Slowly adding stuff to it, long way to go but still does great on moderate trails

Great setup you have now. Don’t be tempted to overbuild it. Enjoyed my D2’s in closer to stock form

Really wish we could have got the TdV8 in the US from the factory. Would have been perfect in the L462 Discovery - plenty of room under the bonnet.
