That's a lovely Range Rover with a great choice of upgrades in the power train. Only one problem with it - the steering wheel is on the wrong side!

I've wanted a two door Range Rover since they first came out in 1970 but they were never sold over here. If I had one I'd want the same power train in it as you have.

Thanks, I can’t really take all any credit for it as the previous owner did all the hard work but this is exactly what I would have done to a RRC anyways. I’ve been on the look out for a TD5 Defender for about 6 months but their price has gone crazy with covid tax and all were horrible condition.

Commonwealth Classics up in VA import LHD ones and do get/will do anything you want but as things go they are quite expensive.

I hardly post here - we took our Defender to a local spot to play around. I know the line I took when the wheel lifted was the wrong approach, but it was fun regardless. My oldest son looks for any excuse the climb the ladder and sit on top. Installed the expedition rack recently so it’ll be even harder to get him to come down…View attachment 677794View attachment 677795

Years ago my kids were regularly found on the safari rack on my D2. Grocery store, anywhere.

I was hoping we could get pictures of all the EXPO Land Rovers in one thread. Sorry if this has been done before but I couldn't find it in the Rover Section.

Some pics of my new to me 08 LR3 HSE. Got it off original owner all stock with blown air ride. Things escalated quickly with the build...
Im going to start a build thread showing what ive done and things to come soon. But the lift, alu cab rtt, cascadia solar, rims and 33" tires, hidden winch came fast, lol.
Rcv axles from Lucky8 are on order and should have next week to help with the increasing lift coming. Lost some height with the alucab and gear. I also welded up an aluminum washer tank to relocate under the hood that accepts all the pumps on HSE model (headlights sprayer). The underhood relocation kit i bought did not include that. So i fabricated my own that holds over a gallon and uses factory mounts. I also made the mounts for the rtt. Im a custom fabricator by trade. These pics are on top of Mt Washington..20220612_130539.jpg20220612_131210.jpg

a few from this Friday and Saturday at Choccolocco Mountain OHV park in Jacksonville, AL. It was a great place and we got some nice scenery as the leaves had turned and were begining to fall

Blast from the past here. I ran a Rovertym/RTE front bumper on it which was a pretty common D2 bumper back in the day. Also ran a Rovertym/RTE 2” HD springs with 1” spring spacers and D1 spring seats in the rear IIRC to give the 285/75/16 a little extra room
