Post your Camp Awnings

Here's one way I set up camp. It's a Kelty Car Tarp with a telescoping pole threaded through two existing loops under the edge of the maggiolina. I like how it sends heat up into the tent at night but it's a pain to set up in the rain compared to my more traditional awning.image.jpg

I have one of those Autohome awnings like Enzo's, just have never set it up yet.
Looks great Enzo.

Thanks Corey. It was the only time I've used the awning. I now have a Foxwing and definitely don't need it anymore.

If its compatible with my overcamp I'd be interested in buying it from you if youre going g to be selling it (

YDR -

There is a company in Raleigh that will make one with a zipper to connect to the tent's. I looked into it for my overland on the trailer. Pretty close match on the canvas, but I was going to use sunbrella.

Used this inno earlier this week. It is huge and easy set up, I just wish everything stored in the roof case but it isn't that big a deal. The poles get about 7'tall so that is really nice. I am 6'4'' and ducking under canopies gets old quick.

My Hannibal held up to a ******T storm that night without even breaking a sweat. Any awning with guy lines and poles would have been launched! Trust me I know from experience with past awnings. If you have the patience (for ordering) and are able to mount it... think Hannibal.

I think I need a bigger truck!
Camping Labs awning I picked up used locally. Very happy with the water-proofness and it works/looks identical to the 57" one I have on my XJ Roof Rack.

Rained so hard that weekend it was like I needed an Ark more than I needed an awning.
