Here's my old (sold) Suburban when I was up in Chilliwack, BC a few years back.

That is my old 96. Really liked that one. Bought it on EBay, went to Malibu to pickup with wife (girlfriend then).

We came home via Las Vegas, She had NO idea I was driving that way (still wouldn't know). Only time she drove it, was scared to death of it. Still doesn't like big vehicles.

On the way home from there up 395 we hit snow coming over on hwy 88 and the burb wouldn't go over 50MPH. Found out the filter was plugged is all, but the last 100 miles was long.

New (to me) Burbs are both 91's. The 1500 has only 85K on it and getting ready to sell (HINT) as I can't put the cummins in that here in Kali, so I found a 2500.

Picked up this beauty last weekend from a friend. It's in great shape except a bit of crustiness underneath but it's got a few years life left in it yet! It's a 2004, 235000km on the body and 135km on the motor. I brought it in from Ontario so I needed to get it through a safety, all it needed was pads and rotors on the front, a new handbrake cable and a new high level brake light. For the price I got it for, I'm super happy. He's a body painter by trade so he painted it 5 years ago when he got it. I've already put 1300km on it!

My plans aren't major. I'll be adding a dual battery setup along with a removable sleeping platform in the back. It's my daily driver so all the camping gear needs to be completely removable.

Are your wheels painted, powder coated, or dipped?

Picked mine up with a bad trans in CO for $1300. 91 350/4l80e 2500 Government vehicle with factory installed Hinkey winch. No provisions for rear seat, just a flat rear bed. Drove it cross country to Florida without 1st gear in the 4l80E. Rebuilt the trans then drove it from FL to SoCal. Best part was it had $900 of brand new tires on it.

Lift inprg. 4" and q78x16's, 14 bolt FF in the works.

Small block eventually sucked water in through the intake. I've been drooling over Larry's build so much with the 8.1 over the years that it will be getting an 8.1 to join the 4l80E.

Just got some 2500HD Alcoa's on. Had to open up the hubs on the wheels to fit the front. I will eventually run a q78x16 which should fit these wheels just fine.

I cant believe this thread is still going!! I'm new to the site so I thought id just post my work in progress, mostly stock 1988 3/4 ton 'burb. Planning a 4" lift and 35's soon, and a engine/trans swap eventually to help with the highway a bit. IMG_0183.jpgIMAG0016.jpg
