Great writeup! I've been checking your site a few times a day waiting for the the trip report. I'm glad you guys had fun, sorry we missed you. It was still cool to pass you guys on the way up. Haha, that must have been a fun trip up Nacimiento-Fergussen road in the fog in the SMB! Probably a little pucker factor.:xxrotflma

Here are the pics I got of the paraglider rescue:

Chris, thanks again for all the help with the 411 on this particular spot. Without you we wouldn't have been able to go there.

Those pics are nuts... so what happened? The paraglider just flew into the side of the hill or what? It was pretty windy when we were there.

No problem, I'm more than willing to share the coast with good people. :)

Yeah, sounds like she took off and didn't get enough lift and whipped back into the hill (sounds a little tame for how steep it is). There was NO wind when we were there, which was awesome for us, not so much for paragliding though. Although, I'm sure that's the only reason that helicopter was able to land where it was. Otherwise, they would have had to get her up another few hundred feet.

I may have to take up paragliding now though, I heard that you can take off from there and land at Sanddollar Cove.:Wow1: That would be awesome!

Dave, It was great to see you and Yoshie again, and meet a few of your friends. Here are some shots I took.
