Just wait until the lowered truck folks find out about this place...

What is wrong with lowered trucks? :p

Wow, what is happening to this forum? Seems like someone can't share an idea or product without eliciting all kinds of criticism and crankiness.

I saw the Hanson's pulling into the coffee shop here the other day, they have a Pronghorn on their Taco....it looks worse in person, even though I thought it was kinda cool at first.

I dunno..looks cheap to me, slapped together by a person that doesn't know how to weld...a lot of bolts to rattle loose imo...of course that is just my opinion. :D :)

I think it'd be killer if it was around $350-$650.

I like it for my price point mentioned above. I'm beginning to think some companies are taking advantage of the overlander's desire to spend $$ on their vehicles and equipment.

I've tried to like it - but the aesthetics just don't do it for me.

Sure, function over form and all of that - but for that much $$$, I want both.

The bumpers they are building for the Jeeps look pretty good (IMO anyway). I just don't feel the love for the Tacoma version.

I don't think my opinion on aesthetics was even a tiny consideration when they started looking for bumpers, so as long as they're happy with it (and the last I heard, they were very happy with it), then what else matters?. Of course, that won't stop me from poking fun at them around the campfire (I'm just a sarcastic SOB, so they expect that from me).

It does work on the Jeep I must say.

For the price...there are so many other options out there...

LOL

Didn't they have an Aluminess on there? Not much better looking tho' Little too big and bulky for my taste...I like something a little more stream lined and tucked.

I'm pretty sure that they had the factory bumper on the front prior to the Pronghorn.

Thanks...thought this is their Taco???

the pricing is just way out of line. The Pronghorn jk stubby is $1390... The ARB stubby for the JK is $575 and you can mount a winch in it. :Wow1:

I do love the military approach to the basic bumper itself but unless you have nothing better to spend you money on then its just way way overpriced.
