According to the factory service manual, the thermostat has to be installed in a very specific orientation. How have you installed the thermostat?
I'm asking the question because I had a phone call with Mongo earlier today that impressed a sense of urgency on me. I know for a fact that once I reassembled my engine after this most recent overhaul, I didn't actually pay attention to that initially. I created a video showing how I managed to install this and wanted your opinion.
