I was under my 99 WJ today looking at the shocks to get an idea of the needed tools and noticed the the passenger side rocker panel is rusting out badly. I know when I had my ZJ it was recommended to cut the rockers out and add some 4X4 square steel in their place. Is this something that can be done to a WJ as well? Doesn't have to be square tubing could be rectangular tubing instead. Anyone have any ideas????? I really don't want to get rid of it if I don't have to.
