Questions about Four Wheel Finch pop up – Roof Load

Whatever camper we end up with, we’d like to be able to carry our two fiberglass sea kayaks on top. With a rack system, paddles, PFD’s, and other lightweight gear stowed in the boats, we’re guessing it might be 150 lbs. or so. For folks who have experience carrying stuff on top of their FWC pop up, is that a reasonable load to put on there? How hard is it to raise and lower the lid with that kind of load? I should say that the FWC Finch we’re looking at has the gas lifts.

Also, if you have carried sea kayaks on your pop up camper, how hard was it to get them on and off? Did you come up with system to make it easier? Same question for a couple of bikes (not at the same time as kayaks, though).

If I remember correctly they say about 200 lbs on the roof. Its made to support much more but you would have issues lifting it.
