Questions for Wrangler JK Owners

I'm still kicking around the idea of replacing the aging Discovery with a Wrangler JK. I read that the May incentives on both two and four door Jks was something like $4000. When searching dealer inventory from the Jeep.com website I see more like a $2,500 incentive. Did I miss out by not buying last month with the employee pricing plus?

Where are some good Dealerships around the country? Any that might work more with you than others? I'm in Southern Missouri but available to travel for a good deal.

Thanks,
dd

2. No fan belt – electric fan only. This brings about another question.
How easy/difficult are normal maintenance procedures like oil changes?

Lack of a belt driven fan is a good thing; it was a HP waster. And you have no fan clutches to worry about.

I've got a 4 dr Rubi and love it. Yeah, I wish it had more power but it does well enough. Fuel economy is decent for a heavy brick and it does great off road. If you want more power regear it and it will wake up.

I find maintainance to be simple. Mine is not a DD. We've had it a year and it's got 8500 miles, most of that offroad, and it's never been in for a warrantee repair.
