Quick M116A3 Trailer build

I have about $350 for each trailer. All said and done minus tents I will have less than 1k in them so not that bad at all.

Very nice! Any more at that price? Looks like you are up in the high desert, which is pretty close. Been looking for a cheap trailer project and those look like a great base to build off of. I've run into the same thing, with the kids and dogs going on a camping trip the rover fills up fast and I end up lashing everything to the roof rack..

Ill keep an eye out. GL has a ton up for auction all the time. I found the one with now wheels on ebay for $150.

Not much new to report, but trailer number two is coming along nicely. I should have it done by this weekend and painted. This one is an exact copy of the black one I posted earlier. We will be hauling both of these out to death valley for thanksgiving!

What size tires are you running on the Jeep and trailer. I have 315/70/17 on my Jeep I did the same on my trailer I think it is a little much for the trailer. My idea was for them to sit level like your does.

The Jeep has 40 inch toyos on it. I kept the 37 inch Military goodyears on the trailer

I can't ever say enough about these mil surplus trailers. There built tough, the cut corners looks Sharp. Leaving the box smaller than the platform was nice. Now you can throw scepter cans or whatever else up front.
