No way dude! I'm happy for the conversation and good ideas! I never have anybody to talk about this stuff with around here at home. People usually think all my stories of traveling solo to Colorado to go camping or sitting on top of a rock strewn hill to watch severe storms are cool and they looove the pics but when I offer to take them they all get quiet
So far I'm always runnin solo and when you're a few miles from the border and being followed by Border Patrol you start contemplating the sanity of your decision!!
PS that snorkel is pure awesomeness....I have no reservations about taking a hole saw to my fender

I'm in Northern NM, so right on route to CO from AZ or TX. Just sayin'. I guess I need to actually break out the camera once in a while!

That's quite true...I've realized that taking city loving people out into the countryside tends to get a lil tricky! I'm from Kentucky and have never lived anywhere near as big as this place.
I love Arizona and Northern New Mexico...I'd love to move out to Colorado one day. I'm dreaming of camping in the Glenn Canyon and kayaking out there someday...soon I hope!!

Do you have a boat? We've been paddling for the last 10 years or so. We plan on doing the Green River next year if it works out. We've thought about Glenn Canyon, but never taken the time even though it's 5 1/2 hours away.

I hear ya! I've got the same affliction but I'm still craving a kayak already...
But the truck could use some nice new Bilsteins and I'm convincing myself that a softopper would work as well as saving up for the horse, trailer, saddle....AHHHHH!!!!

Well I managed to get the Kayak, install a CB radio + huge whip antenna, and also ordered up a Dynomax VT muffler to cure this way too quite V8 syndrome.
I'm really hopeful that the muffler will be here this week...
I've also now added yet another hobby to the list of things this truck will accommodate...I'm officially addicted to snowboarding. Went for my first time almost two weeks ago.

The storms I was being chased by the whole day...started to sleet for a while even
One last pic of her before I went to play in the mud and snow...she's a total mess now
I love this spot...view is incredible
I'm really hopeful that the muffler will be here this week...
