One suggestion...I would spin the floor anchors around and put the turn buckles on the outside to keep a clean inside wall to load cargo against.

No can do, the floor mounts wont reach around the outside. The rear ones might, but the fronts definitely will not.

Thanks a lot guys. Let me know if you need any info. Im tryin to find my drawings and stuff still.

That is really nice work and it gives me good ideas for a similar set up in my KJ one day. I really like the lockable compartments being separate from the main rear compartment. I like the bins too, easy to replace if broken.

My adds-ons would be to re-route the heater ducts to the sleeping area for those cold mornings in camp and maybe some smaller compartments that can be reached from the front seats.

Thanks for posting the great pics. I need to get some sort of CAD program for my Mac, seems to me that's the way to go.

Bringing this thread back (because this platform looks awesome and I want to copy it!) not quite from the dead but from a little slumber... :)

I can't quite tell from the pix or diagrams, is the platform comprised of two separate sections? The behind seat section and the over-the-top-of-the-folded-down-seatback section?

If I was to venture a guess, I would saythat it looks to be made of 2/3 sections. The front section being 27" long and then hinged in the center to form 2 compartments. Then the back section being 31" long..but that's just my guess...

Sorry guys, its been forever since you asked the question and forever since I started looking through the forum again but yes, its 3 sections. The rear section can be left in all the time with the rear seat in also. Then the middle section is the part that I take out if I want the rear seat in. The doors are centrally hinged. And the front part is just a board about a 1' wide that sits in the extensions and the center console for sleeping.

Anyway, hope that helps.
