i found a unicorn 2002 ex red cross e450..... but has rust. 120k miles. seller wants 13.5k$ I was supposed to pick up today and was real excited but now i feel its a no go for me as i live opposite the ocean. Not sure how much it would be to remove the surface rust and have the parts with the flaking rust replaced :( My carpal tunnel is past the point now where i can do tens of hours with a grinder removing and treating myself. apart from that the vehicle is in perfect shape.

I dont know what to do. I was hoping this to be my last build (my keeper).
Ive not seen one with a 7.3 for a while. Just the 6.0 🤢

You need to walk away. All that rust makes vehicle very difficult to work on. I had a old plow truck i bought from a salt mine and man did it take a ******** load of work just to do simple things with all bolts and nuts rusted.
