There will be very little if any 4x4 required for this trip. I have not found the exact location for Register Rock, but it appears to be on good dirt roads near Leupp, AZ..

Until we get a firm location of Register Rock, I don't know if a permit will be required. It appears to be on an existing dirt road.

Will this be an individual permit (one permit per person) a vehicle permit or as a group?

A day long trip right? not overnight?

I don't know yet Rex. If it's near a main dirt road, I'm not too concerned about it. We'll know more shortly I hope!

This is a day trip, albeit a long one!

Would like to go, is the limit 5 members or 5 vehicles? I still need to check with the better half on plans.

Rex Cosnino exit is east of Flag on the I-40, the next exit after Walnut Canyon, its well marked, was out there today.

There's a ghost town near Diablo Canyon where the Santa Fe has a bridge, was suppose to be one of the roughest towns around, think I have seen it compared to some of the worse western towns. Some information is available online.

The limit is 5 vehicles, and we've reached that as of this evening.

Currently we have firm commitments from: Hltoppr, BajaExplorer, Rexsname and JJackson. My folks will also be attending, and are included in the vehicle limit.

If any one of the above group can't attend, BLKNBLU or 111db are alternates.
