Venezuela manufactured '95 Toyota Land Cruiser Machito 4X4. 4.5L inline 6, 20HC 24 valve engine. Loaded. Venezuelan title and Certificate of Origin. Never see another one like it in the U.S. Driven up through Central America from the Brazilian border. Extreme torque for rock climbing and off road conditions. Very tight turning radius. Requires EPA conversion which will cost approx. 7K. Highest offer over $12,500.

Wonder if a Venezuelan title works with the AZ DMV for tags? Cool, though.

I see that guy cruisin around all the time. Thing's got to be already registered. He lives down the street from a riding buddy of mine, maybe we should just go ask him.

Temporary importation coming to an end. No way to register it in the US because of DOT regulations.

Depending on your tolerance for grey market vehicles, there's a handful of ways to get it "assimilated", but none should be discussed on an open forum, and the price is *way* too high to start with.

He lives over in Cheshire. I was over there one day to drop the kids off at party ans spoke with him. He was at 25k a month ago. When I spoke with him, he was going to go to the DMV the following Monday and get it regestered in Arizona. He worked in Venezuela for 5-6 years and told me that since he was out of the states for over a year, he could bring it in with him. I have more pics of it somewhere. And it is a 1FZ (carbed) 5speed, Dana 60 rear end truck and it does run well.

I don't know what the EPA conversion entails, but I didn't think he would need to do all that here in Flag as we don't smog test.
