No need, but I do think that it helps cool the truck when I have it parked and am running my efan. Since I have it on a mechanical switch and have to be in control of when it kicks on, I think having that gap pushes hot air out, faster.

Honestly, I copied the mod from a buddy, and then when he pulled it off of his truck (he figured it didn't do much) I left it. Just little things to be different.

Well here are some updates until I copy more photos over..

Added Spacers

Trimmed the fenders to fit the spacers.

Then in May I did this

Put this thing in the garbage.. Now Roxy roars.. A bit loud for my personal taste, but it is exponentially better than the POS ricer noise she was making..

Then July rolls around.. And things got brighter with Projectors

Got tired of hitting my hands on the power steering pump all the time when working near the battery and am thinking of doing a dual batter set up at some point.. Though it has yet to happen.. Anyway, I moved the reservoir.

Then I put it underwater at WENT, you should look at the links for WENT if you wheel a Nissan in the USA..

Then a few months later I smoked a deer on the Parkway..

Just some photo dumps while I wait on the truck to be fixed. A couple of ideas in the works for fixes later on.
