Roof light glare

its nice to have lights up high that can stay cleaner.

they don't look very clean, though )))))))))))))))))))))
but seriously: how do they work out for you in front of the windshield? glare on the hood??
that's what i didn't like on my xj - the hood being lit up (although it was black mat)

for the short of time i use them. and since they are fog pattern anyway i dont really worry about it.

i have thought about putting a piece of black plastic on the bottom half of the lens though. or spray paint it black.

I have 4 HID lights in the center of my roof rack and I solved the hood glare with a fold down cover. The cover protects and keeps the lights clean for use.

Open for night travel

Closed for daylight travel
