I have a guy making me a roof rack for my 00 disco. I wanted a flat roof rack and not one sloping or that follows the roof line. He does this out of his house so the accessory support will have to come from other manufacturers.
My question is what can I have him do to make sure I can use the most accessories from other manufacturers for bolting stuff to the roof.
I'd like to mount some boxes, high lift, rear facing lights, pelican case, axe, and probably other things once I have it but not sure right now.

This is one he's already done for another guy
Or is there other ways to mount stuff that I don't know about. Mind you I'm not a welder so I can't just fabricate my own stuff.
