I've been using a 4 gal gas for a while and they are pretty good, but they do swell up. I haven't had any leaks.

Hey, those are pretty cool Wil.

Has anyone used those for any distance?

I have 2 straped onto the back of a Rokon 2x2 Motorcycle. I ride rocky trails and they have been great. I get 5 hours plus run time on the fuel tank so my Rotopaxs are a 2 gallon water and a 2 gallon storage box. The box holds tools and survival type stuff. Thru crashes and bounces the mount and the packs are perfect. You get what you pay for and then some.

I keep swelling on all my fuel tanks (including my RotopaX) under control by keeping them full. Air is the problem, not fluids.

Just like a fountain pen (doubting anyone on ExPo but me uses them), a full pen or an empty pen has no issues with up-and-down in altitude. Only part full pens, or fuel carriers, have issues with pressure changes and leaking.
