RTT cover keep rain out completely?

I don't mean to hi-jack a thread, but I thought it might be interesting to those on this thread to ask or learn from others about how well the various tents do when packing up a wet tent.

For example: tent is deployed; you sleep all night while it rains; it's dry inside but wet outside when you decide to pack it up to leave camp. With the matress and cover inside (possibly leaving sleeping bag inside too) I'm curious how well these different models do at keeping the moisture and excessive watter from entering the inside of the tent and soaking the mattress and/or bedding when folded?

Many thanks.

Tony-

I just pack it up... Remember in BiBE on the last day when we had frost? Packed it up and forgot about it. No adverse contitions to the tent with the truck sitting in IAH for almost 2 months with it unopened.

I just put the ARB RTT on my lifted 80 series. How did your Jeep feel while off-roading with the tent on top? I am concerned about it making it too top heavy...

I had a 125-pound tent atop my Suzuki Vitara at last years Trophy and didn't notice any adverse effects, which surprised me. I really doubt that on the 80 you'll notice it much at all.

Sounds good, Wil. You're making it awful hard to not consider getting one of these. I know the wife already wants one, but she's begging to get an AT Horizon with all the goodies including the RTT. :Wow1:
