I don't have a the Rubicrawler, but I have an Atlas 4-speed with the same ratios. I pretty much never use the super low range in Colorado. I love having the 2.72 range though! In the snow or doing mild trails the 4:1 in a Rubi is just useless when you need any kind of speed. If the crawler had been out when I was buying I could have saved a bunch of money over the Atlas.
