Russian wintertime expedition to northern Siberia

Thanks to Jalopnik.com for posting a link to this web site. It's a photo essay about a team of four vehicles that traveled along frozen rivers to the Taymyr Peninsula and Norilsk, the northern-most city in Siberia. The vehicles used were three Nissan Patrols and one Toyota FJ Cruiser, all diesel powered, and by the photos, not highly modified. No Iceland-style monster tires here.

I love cold weather so very much but I'm not sure about Siberia cold. Awesome trip with great photography, going to re-read it fully as soon as I have enough time.
