Salvaged p38 help

what happened with the lr3?

the others i take it you sold off before major issues popped up? :)

Nope I did extensive work on all of them usually keeping for 8-14 months and turning a profit.

My first was sold due to it entering water that reached well over the hood.

The LR3 just lost its pizzaz, the p38 I bought did very minor work and sold within two weeks for double what I paid.

The DII transmission was behind to shift hard, this after I chased and replaced major components to reduce vibration, I was ready for something else so I sold it 8 months later for the same I paid.

I just got back from 8 days and 1500 miles to Death Valley. I recently converted to coils and have much better clearance. The only problems I suffered were a leaking rear tire and a blowout on the front right. The P38 worked flawlessly. Another P38 joined us for the first 5 days and had no issues. They are under appreciated and quite capable. $3400 for a salvage does sound a bit high though. It can be tough to insure or resell salvage vehicles.

Rover De Land, did you wind up buying the car?

Still curious as to what an RMR is... (???)
