Just got my hand trapped between the suspension and the frame - not injured, thanks to heavy gloves, but it hurts like a *****. I'm giving this one more hour then I'm taking it to the shop and saying "Here's a check, fix it!"

Thats what I'm thinking with my front brakes right about now. I have a rebuild kit for them but just haven't had the time or gumption to get it done, then the other day my jeep started pulling real hard to the left. My front left brake is squeezing but not letting up right away. It does eventually, just not instantly. Everyone tells me I might have an air bubble in my brake line, makes sense to me. But tonight after work I'm limping it to the shop and having a professional do it for me just so that it will be done.

Yeah bingo. Sometimes its better to jsut cut your losses. Between new tools, parts, and time I was at what the shop quoted me already x.x

doesn't sound like an air bubble, sounds like a pinch/kink in the line somewhere. follow the line from the brake all the way up to the master cylinder, If i were there, I'd bet you $10 on it! (or a 12 pack of beer, haven't had a beer in 5 months! Stinkin Iraq!)

Total damage: $335.

They replaced the tranny mount while they were in there. ugh.

Still a small oil drop off the tranny crossmember.

If it doesn't drip oil...it isn't a Cherokee. They are second in line to a Land Rover for this.

I'm not sure if the 2.5s are as famous for this as the 4.0L engines are but after so many miles, the 4.0Ls ALL leak oil from the rear main seal. If you have a high mileage one that isn't leaking...its been replaced.
