Savana tire/wheel purchase opinions!

Wheels are on and I'm stoked! They fit very well, no rubbing at lock. They DO protrude a bit from the wheel well. Which I hope won't cause me to fail MD inspection.

Lol, Sadly we are 3,000 miles apart. I have a set in the garage I would have given you just to have them taken away.

After you put them on to pass can you take them back off? That slight bit of tire showing gives your van a weightlifter in a suit look.

I once had a Chevy s10 and ran 335 in the back, I went to Home Depot à bought rubberized baseboard material super cheap with 3m sticky tape, passed the DOT inspection and took them off when I got home. It must have cost 10$ it was super ugly but it passed inspection

Just ordered rubberized Flexy Flares from Amazon. We'll see if they stay on past inspection. I am worried about those tires throwing rocks.

Thanks. Be interested to see how they work.

I tried a set from amazon that didn’t work, the were designed for a 90 degree fender where the Express/Savana is rounded. I throw a lot of rocks with my tires. I may just install something like mud flaps.

Got the flares on, I’m not sure how I feel about them. Might look better after I do the 2” lift. 0A8CC840-074C-4568-84C1-2377D471553E.jpeg

Not bad. I like it better without, but they will help and of course allow you to pass inspection. Thanks for posting.
