Sawaro's Overland Taco Build

Appeared to be to many moving parts on the 1st table, 2nd table looks to be much more stable. Kidding aside, nice looking rig/set up that should give you many miles of reliable service. Hope to be able to go to that part of the world someday

awesome setup and pics! Now you've convinced me I definitely need to get a Taco, as opposed to an SUV like 4Runner or Wrangler JK...

- I see a rather large folding table in one of your pics.. where do you store that table?
- When sleeping in a camper shell, how do you exit the vehicle? Is the bed area locked and secure while you're sleeping?
- What items are you storing in the access cab rear seats?

Ywen: Thank you. Its funny, Ive been coveting Landcrusiers and g-wagons lately, another case of the grass is always greener syndrome I guess.

The table folds in half, and is stored on top of the mattress, secured with a ratchet strap.

I exit from the tailgate area. I sleep with my feet facing the door and its pretty easy to get out. My shell is four inches taller than a the cab of the truck and it makes all the difference in interior space. The rear topper door is not locked when im sleeping, but I've never had any problems.

What items are you storing in the access cab rear seats?
My fridge is mounted behind the passenger. Behind the driver on longer trips are a couple of plastic drawers that are ratchet strapped down full of books, snacks and other commonly used items. Otherwise its there is a Thule organizer box full of jackets, camera gear and CDs.

Yeah way to many moving parts in the first table! Thanks for the compliments.
Definitively get down to Baja, its kind of intimidating the first time, but it doesn't take long to relax and start loving it.

The opening shots of the table incident are the best :sombrero: I like a guy who can laugh at himself. Two thumbs up!

Great photos, and a great truck. Here's to pretty ladies, remote beaches, and a comfy bed to crash out on
