Securing 20lb gas tank by just bolting down through the base?

Mostly pavement trailer - drilled holes in the angle iron frame the tank sits in and bolted it down with 3 3/8" bolts. Feels secure enough. Anyone can think of any problems doing that?

Should be fine. I had a camper that simply had a cam strap going over the top of the bottle to hold it in the base.

Mine is held in with a nylock wing nut and a bungee.

As long as it is secure enough to stay in place in the event of dog forbid a major collision.

You can see 2 of the three bolts on the bottom of the tank
