I like it. It is a unique approach to a show vehicle. And yes I have one of those belt buckles so maybe my tastes are flawed. http://montanasilversmiths.com/ What I think is sort of ironic about it is the the tooling and silver is definitely western. And although the Tundra might be assembled in Texas, its roots are not. That part of it I don't like, as it is sort of like the pretend cowboys I see all the time. I think in a way it is sort of disrespectful to pretend to be something you aren't.
Toyota is more American than most Dodges, Fords, or chevys. It`s pretty bad when you want an American vechicle and all of the parts are from all over the world, so what makes it an American anymore?
My 94' Harley has Japanese parts all over it, not that I`m complaning, but I don`t want Harley telling me that it is American, it is American ASSEMBLED not American made.

Does anybody have any information on this bumper? It does look nice...

Yes, earlier in this thread, a photo was posted by Dave Hackney that showed the details of this rig. The front and rear bumper (and the rear is even better, with a swing out), are Mopar parts. The photo shows the part numbers.

It wasn't what is American made versus what is not American made debate I wanted to start. There is hardly anything that 100% made in one spot anymore. It was more of a comment about roots. I think companies should be proud of their roots, but I also think that they shouldn't pretend to be something they aren't.

Isn't that really clean XJ, the one with the 4.7 liter, the stroked 4.0 or something like that? It was probably posted already, but I thought I read somewhere that Mopar was going to sell it as a direct replacement for all vehicles that had the 4.0 I6. Bolt in replacement with like 295 tq. and 265 hp.

Maybe I was dreaming or missed it posted before, but I'll look for a link on it.

Numbers I heard were more along the lines of 270hp and 320 torques. I'd LOVE to have that kind of power in my XJ. I'm not too fond of the interior though, the fake carbon fiber look... MEH

Overall, I think its amazing, the spare tire carrier, the tube doors (I'm determined to fab up my own version of those hinge mounts) even the front bumper, though personally I'd like to put a brush guard on the front
