Definately interested if your buddy would offer kits. Please keep us updated. Thanks

I second that! Just how many of us would it take for you guys to put together a sellable kit? 100% commited to buy if you can come through!

I think I need a bigger truck!
Nice build...love the lid. I just ordered a set of wheels like those for my M101 CDN2 to match my Cherokee wheels, tires are up next.

I too am interested in a lid, half heatedly looking for a fabricator locally. SO much prep to do on mine to get it ready for paint. Not much rust which is good, just a bit of rock damage from the past 3 years of use by the PO.

Will be following this.

Just a quick update, trailer dropped back off at the shop to get a finish of some type applied to the lid - something to hide / minimize the visibility of scratches that will occur. Hopefully will be done soon and I will post more pictures, without the tent so you can see everything better.

Looking at the frame we have on this thing, I wonder how feasible it would be to create/sell all of the framework and hardware, everything but the skin, and a canvas cover as an option? It would make shipping super easy, as well as save on weight/shipping. The skin on this (mine is aluminum) makes shipping the biggest challenge; steel would be heavier.

That would be great!! Keep us posted!

Pics of the finish on the lid

More coming, but here is a few. There is also a time-lapse video I am hoping can be posted here; Marshall, the guy who has done the work on this lid, has it on his computer. Will try to get it linked here soon.
