sheep bridge Arizona day trip

i did it without skid plates, didn't use 4x4 exept for when I got in some mud. i did hit bottom of the monty twice, but no damage occurred. i have 265/75/16 tires on saggy stock suspension. im running Michelin a/t2 tires in load range E. id rate it a 3/10 if 1/10 is a graded smooth dirt road and 10 is mud. there is a lot of sharp rocks to run over, so pick your lines carefully. there is a short road (like 1 hour) from horseshoe resivoir to the sheep bridge but it crosses the verde river which is currently 4 feet deep and quite swift. if i did it again i would camp at the river, but I didn't have time on this trip
Ah, I see. In my head I thought I had to be as prepared as most decked out rigs to hit these trails, though now I'm running SL rated tires so I'm not as confident. I'll choose my lines carefully then.

I don't have a rooftop tent but camping by the river sound like a blast. I'm better prepared this time around so next time you end up wanting to put a group together count me in.

This was from one trip.
Lol this almost looks like it was done on purpose. My truck isn't this prepared.

many decked out rigs live in the city. I like exploring remote places but I'm not planning on doing any serious crawling, just exploring the backcountry. most of the places i go you could go in a Subaru if you don't mind dragging the frame on some rocks.
