Thanks, I really like your build as well. I have seen it on TW... that thing is sexy!

I take it they aren't too friendly on the rock crawling? I enjoy milder trails, nothing too crazy... but I want to get into more of the camping aspect of it. A very capable/flexy camping rig is what I'm looking for.

Needless drama popped up recently in fireside chat from someone who thinks vehicles that don't fit the cookie-cutter stereotype should be cast out. People still fail to understand that what makes a vehicle an "expedition vehicle" is the mindset of the driver. Has nothing to do with the equipment.

Get out, post pictures, tell your story... you're welcome around here.

Great mind set to have! So far I really like this site... a lot of good information, people seem to be pretty friendly (not bashing/flaming people for asking questions) and the site itself is very nice.

I've spent the last two days going through the storage thread getting design ideas for my sleeping/storage platform. Great stuff!

I wouls just think that some readers may think that the rockcrawlers have their sites and this one is for the camping-type stuff. I can see the 2 merging though with the length of some of the trails. I just don't think there is a real need for a forum for the extreme buggies and like.

Hey eblau- How're you liking those Hella's? I've been back and forth looking at all of the Hella options and I think I'm more confused than when I started. I did like the 4000 and 5000 series though.

What gears are you running with your tires? I'm about to have 4.88's from a 4Runner like yours installed front/rear next month. Unfortunately, I have zero extra money right now for a locker of any kind. Kinda sucks.

Thanks!

33x10.50 BFG AT and those are Hella 4000's.

tbar- Could you post up some more pics of your Wildernest please? Yours looks great and it doesn't look like it has that overhand in the rear like others...? Thanks!
Thanks
I have a post with more pics , look under ( my 01 Tacoma ) the camper does have the overhand ,the way it was parked made it look like it doesn't have it
