That...doesn't make any sense.

A rim isn't going to give you more clearance if you still run a 33" tire. It'll still be 33". It'll be maybe 1/8" +/- different overal gain..

Right but a drop bracket lift still just lowers the diff. You gain no addition clearance because of that.

Considering a 2nd gen tacoma can fit 35s realativly easily on a 3" lift they isn't much of a point for a drop bracket. Can even do 37s with a small tub job.

You have the same clearance as a truck with 3" lift.

I actually think the 6 inch lift gives less clearance. The a arms stay almost in stock location. The 3 inch lift puts an angle on the arms. So if both ran same size tires. The 3 inch lift will have more clearance.
