My .45 is on me, where I can get to it. If I am going hunting or plinking, I put them in a Pelican gun case. Most of the office went out yesterday for a little recoil therapy.

My Glock 45 is in a Galco holster on my pants on my left side.
When I hit the range with my new S&W AR I just picked up a few weeks back, it goes in a Blackhawk case next to the ARB fridge.
I never leave guns/rifles in my rig unattended.

I use an American Security RF6528 30 gun safe in the truck.

That's why I bought a 3/4T. The long travel Carli airbags help support the 3455 lbs weight, and the added traction for snow and ice is welcome this time of year.

Depending on what you shoot and drive (long long guns or carbines and length of cargo bay) this idea may or may not work but, when I build my drawer system for the rear of my 60 there will be a double stacked drawer dedicated to this purpose. top drawer will be guns and bottom will be for ammo to keep everything legal. Most of my rifles are Cabines so they fit from the rear gate to the seat back but, shotguns and dads 7mag are a bit long for this. also im going to put one of those truck rear window racks on the back of the rear seat so when I'm hunting/on my way to hunting when/if I see something I can get at my rifle quick but, its more secure than laying on the pass seat.
