Shower Idea

I still think someone should take one of those bug sprayer showers and plumb it into their OBA...just for the sake of over kill...

Thanks kcowyo, in that pic I couldn't tell if the burner was attached to the stand or not.

OBA plumbed into the hot water can huh? THAT could be interesting.......
Talk about raising the boiling point! Though it would want a regulated inlet. Highly doubt that my GF wants to take a 120 psi shower.......

Now you'll need a shower shelter unless you plan on exposing that mass to the masses. ;)

LOL.... Yeah. I have a shower shelter. Two things I just cant bring myself to do, shower naked out in the open, and take a dump out in the open. I bought the shelter a while back when I got my portable toilet. Its so nice not to hang off the back of a tree. :wings:

However, the Europeans here are a different story. They just dont care!

You guys might want to consider looking for a used portable eye wash station. They are pressure charged, can range from 5 to 15+ gallons. Some only have the eye wash faucet, but many come with a hose and "shower" head.

A few of us used them while out in the field, run some rope and tarp in between a couple of 5-tons for privacy, throw in the water, hooked up the air to the brake line and instant shower. In the winter, you can easily add in some hot water to warm it up. You could even stick the can close to a fire to warm it up, if snow is available you wouldnt even need to worry about water supply. Of course we always towed a water buffalo so supply wasnt too big of a issue for us.

You could also adapt a water fire extinguisher, I've seen many people modify them for an air tank, why not for a shower system?

I was gonna say water fire extinguisher as I used to use one as a pressure washer. We would put 50/50 water and red devel degreaser in it for detailing engine bays. Would last a while..

I have the Zodi unit. It's more than adequate for a good shower; for just about any body size. It's just a matter of being reasonable in your water use.
As for the stock shower head, get rid of it!
Go down to Lowe's or Home Depot, Ace, or some such and get a hand held shower head or a kitchen sink hose/sprayer with the on/off lever. It's infinitely better than the trickle-head that comes stock.
Make sure the hose is 1/2" (IIRC) and it will slide right over the nipple on the tank....secure it with a hose clamp.
Enjoy!
