Hey, you got out there! Thanks for the photos.

No problem. It was definately worth the trip. The people I hung out with at Slab City were cool. I bought some artwork, visited the library (which has a large collection of National Geographics), and generally rambled around. The most interesting thing about the slabs is its urban form, it mimics an actual city. The culture is at the center, the wealthy live on the northside in thier suburbs, and the folks upon hard times live south of the tracks....or something like that. There's probably more community out there than where I live :(
