Oh no... the cook set has rather large pots and pans.

I couldn't find this set on the Snow Peak website..... they have a funny way of discontinuing products at random...

I've noticed! Things just kind of go away... I also don't like that they make you buy things in sets in a lot of cases. I really like their cast iron stuff but I already have cast iron pans and all I really want is their small cast iron pot, however, they only sell it as part of a $150 set.

Perfect, thanks... I was searching for "roasting spit skewers" etc and couldn't really get any good results... Speaking of, does anyone have a simple and well-made spit roast setup that they're using for camping? I have done it old-school using wood found around the campsite but just wondering if there are any good setups out there that are non-electric. I don't mind spinning manually, seems like all the electric ones have problems getting hot, etc...

I've got the Auspit (Australian made). Battery operated so not quite old school, but good nonetheless I think :)

That one looks pretty sweet, better than the ones I've been seeing on Amazon... Is that the Gold edition of the Auspit? Definitely closer to what I'm looking for with the all stainless construction...

I just purchased a snowpeak starter kit off rei clearance sale, wont be here until Friday. Read a few reviews saying the handle gets too hot to touch, wondering if this is true? If so how do you guys pickup the pot?
