Let it begin. Have front and rear bumpers and roof rack in final CAD design. Ordered new tires and wheels. Having spacers made for my camping trailer to fit matching wheels. Next up design a simple and functional interior then start beating on it.

Nice van, congrats!
Make sure to post your new bumpers!

Rear bumper will be pretty straight forward. Receiver mount, shackle mounts and a tire/fuel carrier. Front bumper is a challenge to make it match the lines of the van and still function. Also putting a winch that we are trying to recess as much as possible. I don't want to modify the plastic to much yet want everything to look like it belongs.

Side note, these things are huge coming from a 4 door Rubicon.

Aluminess is making up a new rear bumper for Sprinters. They have been using mine for mock up and design. It will have some new design features.

Nice!

Subscribed. the 4wd sprinter is calling me!

Can I get you to take a measurement for me? Interior length from back doors to the engine compartment (so through the front two seats)

Thanks!

Is there an eta on this aluminess bumper? Probably gonna have mine cut and welded up next week or week after.

I can take some measurements next week when I visit the shop.

Looks great - can't wait to see what you do with it.

What size wheels and tires can you put on a Sprinter 4x4?

What kind of MPGs can you get with that Bluetec diesel?
