My wife and I are selling our 2017 SoCal XS 510 off-road trailer. Our travel style is changing again and we are moving to a full-size pickup built for off-road with a Four Wheel Camper Hawk pop-up camper. We have used the 510 XS over the last 5 seasons (April – October) exclusively in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Arizona. Trailer is in excellent condition inside and out. Only scratches are on the cover to the on-demand hot water heater (willows were just a bit close on one trail). If you look close enough, there are a few very minor pits from road debris on front of trailer, but no real damage. We have towed the trailer with our Jeep fitted with Rock Tamer mud flaps to keep dirt and rocks off of the trailer. Teardrop fits in a standard 7’ tall garage with 3-4” inches to spare. It has been stored in our garage since purchase unless we’re out traveling.

Our 510 XS is well optioned and has a few items we haven’t seen too often. One is the marine interior that extends the interior shelves a bit and puts doors on all of them. We can carry 2 weeks of clothes each and still have room for tie down straps, tools, first aid kit, and a number of other items in the interior cabinets. When the cabinet doors are open, they create a flat surface that will hold water bottles, phones, tablets, etc. Another is an 82qt ARB fridge instead of the usual 50qt. We also have the Propex propane heater which has been really nice for us and extends our travel season by quite a bit. Here’s the build list plus add-ons we have made:
  • Off-Road 510 XS model - queen size bed
  • 10” electric brakes
  • Pneumatic jack wheel
  • Max Coupler 3 axis hitch
  • Standard 2” ball receiver
  • Expanded metal storage cage with locking lid (at times we have carried 2 20lb propane tanks, 2 5gal jerry cans, portable cassette toilet, ground mats, wheel chocks, leveling boards and still had a bit of room left over).

Thanks. That's why we do what we do. Life is too short to spend it in organized campgrounds. ;)
