For sale is our 2016 Turtleback Expedition Trailer. If you’re looking to get out on the back roads, this is the one for you. As a turnkey build, all you need to do is pack your food, clothing and bedding and you’re ready to Overland. This trailer won’t disappoint.

Tires are LT285/75R16 BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2

September of 2019 Turtleback HQ Additions
A second Trojan Reliant Overdrive AGM 31 100Ah battery was installed in the nose box
The cylindrical storage tube was installed in the upper storage area under the RTT
The original RTT support rack was removed and replaced with a new one
November of 2020
Rago Fabrication manufactured and installed a custom aluminum floor to the upper storage area under the RTT
November of 2020 Turtleback HQ Upgrades
The original torsion axle suspension was removed and replaced with the Timbren 3500 system
The older hot water heater was replaced with a new Dometic 6 gallon
The original three drawer kitchen was removed and the new 2020 styled four drawer system, including stainless steel drop down table in rear door, was installed, providing more storage, more prep space and better organization
The old kitchen sink was removed and replaced with a Dometic deep stainless steel sink
The old RV style cooktop was removed and replaced with the more powerful 10,000 btu Partner stainless cooktop
A Guzzle H2O Stealth System complete with water purifier cartridge filter and UV light filter were added to the water system
A filtered drinking water spigot/dispenser was installed in the kitchen next to sink
The rear wall of the pass-thru storage space was removed and replaced with the Turtleback “Turtle” logo cutout with illuminated/backlit green LED to show the fresh water tank level
Two weatherproof dual USB outlets were installed on the driver’s side exterior above the storage box
An electrical wire/cable pass-through was installed on the passenger’s side of the nose box
A new seven pin tow cable was installed
A seven pin trailer connector protective storage hanger was installed on the tongue
A new fire extinguisher was installed in the nose box
The safety chains were replaced
All door gaskets were replaced
A new 2000# swing away tongue jack was installed
A 2020 Turtleback branded trash bag (Trasharoo style) was purchased, but not installed

Known defect(s):
Slight tear in one of the pockets that holds the rainfly support frame on the RTT. Does not affect water resistance of the tent itself or the rainfly.
Yes, we know the pictures show the trailer as being dirty. It is under an RV cover, but isn’t enclosed. Traffic driving by kicks up dust and gets on the trailer. We don’t think the dirt is a problem, as it is an off road trailer after all. It will be washed prior to showing it to a potential buyer.
