It would fit well in a 6.5' truck bed. You'll need to measure the bedrails to see if it needs a platform to raise it. You can reach out to FWC for an anchor and wiring kit.

Do you know the weight ? I am wondering if it would work on an old Dodge Dakota. The bed length is a bit short though it is a 5.5, could it be used with the tailgate down ? Would appreciate any thoughts?
