I wish that on a near constant basis, but like so many vehicles of interest, don't believe this was available with the diesel and a manual gearbox combination, was it?

Payload is 973 lbs for Ecodiesel Gladiator Rubicon with plastic bumpers and stock tires, so probably 800-900 lbs range with steel bumpers and 37s. Equipped Alu-Cab campers like are 550+ lbs. Hope that helps.

Wow, only 973 lbs before any modifications?!? I've always heard people complain about Jeeps having limited payload, but I would have expected the Gladiator to handle considerably more than that.

The family X5 is rated to BOTH carry more and tow more..
