REDUCED: 2005 Jeep LJ Unlimited 4x4 Patriot blue...

I just bought this LJ when I moved back out to the Big Island of Hawaii. I was going to make it my every day island rig but I am already having anxiety driving it everyday with such low mileage... It was owned and kept in the garage of a local resort and purchased by the guy i bought it from with 7k miles just last year.

It runs, drives, starts, stops, feels like a new 2005 Wrangler. The inside has Wet Okole seat covers which In my opinion are the best, although i dont car for the pattern. There is no wear and tear on the inside or out. I dont think the doors, top, windows have ever been off or out.

Everything works as it should. I dont think you can find a nicer more original 2005 LJ out there. Shipping from here to Cali is 1k dollars via matson and is very easy.

I just figured I would offer it up here first.

$19,900

Just posted it on the SF CL if anyone wanted to check it out there. There are no chips, nicks, or scratches on the wheels. Cherry.

I looked at a stock LJ a few years ago, that was from Hawaii. Topside everything was fine , however, the underside was pretty rusty from the environment. How’s yours?

Thanks guys.. its completely dry and rust free. I will take some underside shots. This one was kept in a garage and I dont think ever taken off road.

Here are some pics of the under side. There is no rust what so ever and its still completely covered by the factory undercoating...

There are NO chips or nicks on any of the wheels including the spare, Also i have not even cleaned it up, its as i got it... so there is some light dirt underneath but no evidence its ever been in mud or sand.

Hope these help, I have crawled under every inch and nook of the underside of the jeep and the only thing that could be considered "rust" is the two bolts in the pics. Its covered in what looks to be factory sound proofing/undercoating. All of the underside of the oil pan, and trans is clean. It has what appears to be all original springs and shocks. It runs and drives like new... I am going to get the Jeep washed with an undercarriage wash to clean up the light dirt that can be seen.

@OverlandNA I have included a pic of the area you have circled and its the thick undercoating on the fender liner, Pic 4... I have also included some pics of the engine mounts, and various under engine pics.

I'm surprised this hasn't sold yet. It's a shame the LJ is no longer in production. GLWS

Thanks @shade Im a little surprised but I am asking decent money for it. That being said i think its fair given the difficulty to find another one, with this miles, in this condition. Im driving over 100 miles a day and I feel bad about it when I drive this. I would rather see it be built or truly enjoyed by someone.

A few years ago, a friend searched for months before finding a similarly unmolested one. It was well-kept, but had many more miles, more rust, and iirc sold for around $19,000.

You might post this in the Jeep section, too. You could also buy a beater for the commute and keep this gem for yourself. :)
