However, I recommend wrapping the positive battery cable in convoluted plastic sleeve and then taping up the whole deal. That's what I did with mine for the extra piece of mind.
Too bad it's hard to get "snakeskin" style anti-abraision sleeve that the OEMs sometimes use. I've seen that stuff win against metal in proving grounds testing.
