Maybe you and @iggi have already seen some of the recent threads, but side mounting panels and tilting them once parked works well for others at your latitude.

I have read some articles on the matter. For how I use my rig, I don’t have the time or energy to mess around with angles of the panel to achieve optimal efficiency. Before I mounted the panel I did play with angles... best case I saw a .2 amp different. If it was a 30% difference I’d feel it was more worthwhile. For 5-10% not so much. I’d rather just mount another panel and do not when I park.

hmmm I'll have to test. Before I mounted my panels to the roof I set them leaning against the ambo late one evening and it seemed like the difference compared to flat mounted was more like 25-35%
