Some really great rigs in there. It's fun seeing a buddies rig in this. That topless DII is an awesome rig, I really wish he still lived in CO. Is there a link to more info on the pop top 100? I want to see more of how that one is set up
yeah I figures it would be cool to see how many rigs I had pics of that I had no knowledge of the owner prior to Expo. I'm pretty much just posting this becasue I think everyone appreciates pictures of really cool rigs and these are just some of the ones I've always admired adn dreamed/drooled over foryears. Like I said if anyone doens't want me posting their pics I'll take'm down, but I litteraly just have them on my comp to day-dream over :D .

Anywho, I think I may just start posting more of my favorites but in no "bulk order" so to speak. I'll just post a cool truck and a description blah blah blah. I love looking at other peoples trucks and seeing all the uniquey different ways we come up with to do the same primary function. Pretty interesting to me.

Anywho

These two pics were ones I was looking for when I posted about the Series Rovers... I LOVE both of these trucks and the pics alone make them look so dam fun. These trucks are both so cool to me.
grendel.jpg

and this one...
jenna1.jpg

Both just plain old fun looking. Like a Flatfender or an FJ40 they just are trucks that form truly follows function on. I love them for that. Plus the looks on both of those drivers faces just kind of says "i'm haivng fun" doesn't it eh WOOHOO

Here's another cool Series truck that I've already posted but I like so much I'm posting it again...
seriesone.jpg

These 3 trucks (one of wich I already posted some of but you know...) just make me want to go out and race thousands of miles through the desert and mountains... I dunno, I get carried away but I gaurentee these are fun trucks to drive eh :D they just make me think of the Dakar truck's and that makesd my heart rate go up ;)

OOh, I'm not entirely sure what all this is, looks to be the grill of a 2nd Gen 4Runner or a 3rd Gen 4x4 P/U... THe tube/sheet bed sides look awesome... It's just one interesting Toyota adn I really don't remember reading about it much in the UA 2005 Magazine issues... Sure looks neat though.

Here's a 60 Series I think I'd like to drive. I'm getting a real itch to pick one up in my neighborhood for a steal...
lastpicinwhite.jpg

If I were building one I'd swap in a Toyota Turbo Diesel (unless it's already got a TD in it) and build it with alot of sound deading and suspensions seats to give it extended comfort. I can personaly attest to the stoutness of a bull bar and side bars. While I may not have any scrub-bulls to run down here in Oergon the Trees hit just as hard some times eh ;)

Or maybe one of these monsters with the 4Runner as my trail toy... Hmmmmm The possibilities...
IMG_0076.jpg

I've always loved this 60 series no matter how impreactical for a dd it is... I still love it.

It's never a bad time to see Some Toyotas...
-75 Series troupy... Oh how I want one of these:

-Lovely SFA 1st Gen 4Runner

-Vermjejo has one AWESOMe 3rd Gen 4Runner.
January08010.jpg

I love these trucks: 3.4V6, 5spd optional and a Locker to boot they're pretty compotent trail rigs right out of the box. Vermejo also hapens to be a pretty sweet photog to boot. Nice rig mate, it's SO nice.
-Anyone who thinks the 80 series is just a Luxo barge with Lockers... Go to OZ and check out a 4x4 comp...Here's an 80 doing what it's supposed to be doing... getting thrashed and LOVING it.

I finnaly found A pic of KellyMoe's rig.

PB290004.jpg

I love this truck, when I showed the picture and explained the rear box-sides/tables she said "when are you goign to make those for your truck... we need those... seriously and we..." HAHAHAHA I love it cause if my GF thinks a 4x4 is cool it must have charectar cause she's not a big car otr truck person. ANyway, Kelly, lmaybe I should have said our household loves your rig eh hahahahaha.

Now I need some Jeeps don't I... Yeah I know I'm hard on jeeps, but I really do love them, I just wish mine had lasted me longer then they did

SO I love LWB CJ/Wrangler Varriants:
-This Scrambler has a 4BT I belive so I really like it:

This Jeepster is SAWEEEEEET. Look at that hard-top I love it!!!!!
ViasaCommando.jpg

I think that Jeep really missed the boat not continuing to offer us the 2DR LJ along side the 4dr JK (espescially since they make it for other countries AHEM Silly N.America....What is that 20 times now HAHAHAHAHAHA)
Love the LJ... LOVE IT!!!!

CIMG1092.jpg

There is even a LWB YJ we never got that are all over South and Central America... So cool!!!
BelmontYJ8.jpg

The J8 is one that I'm sad they don't offer us here along with the Diesel although the AEV conversion sure is nice to have as an option. Albeit a spendy option but it sure is a nice rig eh...

Then we have the venerable "halfsafe" an amphibious WWII Era Jeep that some mad Aussies rode around the globe in... SO amazing, look up Ben Carlin and Half Safe:
This is Half Safe:

Love the Suzi's, Swap in a VW diesel and a WVO system and you've got an economical and incredibly capable trail rig that you could tow behind your Prius hehehehehehe ;) Wait you wouldn't need to, it'l get the same milage proabably :D

The ZJ belongs to Emil, who owns MasterPull here in Bellingham. Somehow, the pics don't do it justice, it looks 10x better in real life. It's so well put together that it looks like it's a factory option model.

Hell yeah, come on Guy's n Gal'n this thread may be titled MY favorite trucks, but what I'm really hoping is that people will just throw down THEIR favorite trucks regardless of make and model and we'll just have a huge thread of amazing trucks that can inspire people no matter WHAT their favorites are.

Nice call on the Early Broncos Here are a few of my favs: They were allfab'd by the same guys but I really like their work...

I love this old picture of these CJ's... Like I said, I love LWB jeeps so the CJ6 is awesome in my book...
AviaOcean.jpg

Plus I love old pics like this from before lawyers would have made this kind of vehicle illegal. And while we're at it, how about some more Jeeps

This is one of the most amazing XJ's ever made IMO and... YEP, he's ( I think it's IXNAXJ's??? Sorry if I got that wrong)on the Expo!!!!
112.jpg

THis truck adress ever single issue I ever had with my XJ's and has one of the most unique "halo" external cages I've ever seen and I love it. The solid metal corners are flat out amazing... Anyway, I really like this XJ. IF I still had one or the patience to build another, this is how I'd do it.

I need more pics of this XJ to drool over...

How about a super sweet and nearly unseen Commander??? This truck is yet another Expo'ers and it's pretty ingenious considering this is not really Jeeps most hardcore of rigs.
0001005-1.jpg

Still he's made it into a very cacable and I'm sure very comfortable trail and touring rig. Nice truck mate:

our very own MrBishi has one SA'WEET Mitsu Challenger (or Monty Sport to us Yanks)
Seeing pics of his rig with it's awning and swag's reminds me of sleeping under the stars (minus the awning of course ;) haha ) in Australia. his rig is certainly  worthy. Nice rig mate:

How about a Cheyenne that could hand most rigs their butts in the sand. No matter your opinnion of these trucks, this is neat eh:
