Some traction for the front of an f150. Which would you pick?

Detroit TruTrac or Torsen is where it is at

With that up front, and a locker in back; if you can't make it through the pasture, you are in a spot where you really don't want to be anyway and are gonna have a bad time.

Also you wont even be able to tell it is there and you can still turn. Lockers up front suck.

This really stinks

After placing my order and waiting 2 weeks Got an email that the torsion is out of stock!

I have everything else ready to go would hate to go through all the work of the re gear and not add a traction.

Will a truetrac work?

Truetrac is the Eaton Detroit version of a Torsen. Work the same but I believe the Truetrac is a bit more durable.

Do they work the same in reverse as forward?

looks like there are different versions of the Torsen for the old 8.8 rear and the 8.8 ifs but both are 31 spline

there is a truetrac for an a.8 rear but not one listed for the front.

So looking at the internet I wonder if this will this fit with the electric steering box?

i know there is a rumor that the 6.2 won’t fit in the 2015 and later f15s because. Of the steering.

Blah... It will fit, you just have to use taller motor mounts to clear things. Or you could juat make a custom oil pan. The 7.3 isn't much different in size than the new 5.0.

Also..there is no reason to put a 6.2 in a 2015+ F150...that (indestructible) boat anchor was replaced for a reason...haha.

I've always wanted an Eaton E-locker in the front of my F150 to match the factory rear E-Locker.

Why not get a Raptor 3rd member and regear to match yours?

So after 2 failed attempts to get the torsen I called stage 3 to try to get the locker and that was going to take a month.

I went ahead and ordered a Yukon duragrip limited slip for $300and it will be here Monday. But it is the old school clutch type limited slip.

now i found a torsen $1000 that I could get in a week I am second guessing putting in the Yukon.

is the torsen really worth the extra $700 over the Yukon?

My mechanic is putting a duragrip in my F150 rear differential right now so I won't have useful info for you in time
