Nice trip in some very open country
Just south of my old stomping grounds. Mo and I lived for some years about half way between Drewsey and Silvies. I built quite a bit of range fence around Diamond and French Glen. I plan to spend some more time in and around the Steens as soon as I retire. Did you get a chance to see the Round Barn when you were down there?

Didn't do the Round Barn on this trip. Have been thinking about doing the Steens loop just before it closes for the season, would be a good time to stop in at the Round Barn.

Not the road around them, but the loop that goes to the top and follows the ridge for around 6 miles, then back out to 205. It gets snowed in.
