Now it's my turn to LOL mpinco.
There are a wide variety of Apple products and they offer a wide variety of hardware. I run both platforms daily and your sweeping statements seem to indicate a lack of product knowledge and lack of personal experience.
Your fanboi is showing. Under the covers they are using Intel or ARM technology, just like everyone else. Apple is good at packaging and forward thinking consumer products although even that is coming into question.
Is Apple now a Gen 2 product company?
Apple does a good job but let's not think a Apple smartphone is state of the art. Both Apple and Google care more about collecting information on you than pushing technology forward. That is the over-arching goal of their product line. Neither care about security.
Blackberry leaps ahead of Apple and Google in one vital area
.......The research division of Thomson Reuters has been looking at patent trends and just released a report and both Google and Apple are on the bottom of one list and Google is big on another you should be aware of.
That is the patents being taken out for call monitoring (spying on you) and the patents being taken out for securing calls and communications so you can maintain your privacy.......
I have used Apple, Google and Windows products. Each has their day and all have to compete using a combination of standard technology and some components for differentiation.
Automotive technology on the other hand is an array of embedded systems that now communicate to manage the multi-dimensional operational profiles. It will be interesting to see what Land Rover brings to the table with the new diesel Range Rovers.
