Likes to Drive and Ride
Shower?

Martyn:

Have you guys considered a small shower system? This might be the last thing a wife (& husband) would want in a camp/expedition trailer.

Not something enclosed, just a tank/pump/heater that could be used occasionally. Similar to the optional external showers on cab-over campers.

Everything is being considered. This my be an option. If we add everything we end up with a trailer that's too heavy and too big to tow, so it's all compromises.

That is an awesome trailer. I like the galvanized frame, the suspension, etc. But my 24' Airstream weighs just 1300 pounds more than this one does - and it has a flush toilet, range, three way fridge, and a shower.

I am sure Martyn and Mario can do better.:sombrero:

Yep, that is similar to the King Kampers - Overkill for the US market.

I think the AT boys are targeting a much more attractive (and excited) US market. Something with walk in comfort and kitchen, well made, and affordable and lighter compared to the high end Australian and SA offroad trailers.

Gonna be the sweet spot for sure. Their traditional AT trailers will still in demand for many that want the extreem durability and the new line with take a few of those customers as well as aton of new customers who have been dying for this type of trailer made in the US.

My "House Finance Committee" had ruled out Chasers/Horizons on the basis of no place to stand or let the toddler play during rain. Toilets and showers are not necessary, just someplace to be (besides the mattress of a RTT) during inclement weather. This looks promising... a little of this :26_34_3: and I might get my trailer!
